The President of the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives, Mr. Ahmed Saleem was the chief guest at a Ceremony held by the Ministry of legal Reform, Information and Arts, to mark the World Press Freedom Day 2008. In his speech he highlighted the importance of the freedom of press for a Democracy.
