The Human Rights Commission of Maldives carried out this year's second inspection visit to K.Guraidhoo, Home for People with Special Needs on 14 August 2008. The inspection team from the Commission included Commission Members, staff of Complaints Department and the Monitoring Officer.

HRCM issues report on K. Himmafushi Drug Rehabilitation Center

Following a monitoring visit to the K. Himmafushi Drug Rehabilitation Center on 06 march 2008, in order to inspect the quality of treatment administered on patients at the center, the nature and type of care given to the patients seeking treatment as well as to examine the physical conditions and cleanliness of the institution, the HRCM team has publicized a report.
