HHRCM has concluded a training course on investigating human rights violations, which was held from 17th – 21st January 2010 in the Commission.

The main objective of the training course was to better equip the HRCM staff in handling and investigating human rights violations, which is one of the main area of work of the Commission. Topics covered during the training includes investigating a specific case of human rights violation, investigation plan, taking an oral statement from a complainant or victim, site visits, handling documents and other physical evidence, analyzing the information and evidence, conciliation and revising the current complaints manual of HRCM.

The training course was facilitated by an expert in the field of human rights Mr. Chris Sidoti.
